BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police are looking for a man who broke into an apartment in the 5600 block of Dahlia Drive and assaulted a male resident with a knife.
Battle Creek police have identified the suspect, who escaped the area in a white Dodge Charger. He remains on the run.
He is being sought for home invasion and attempted murder charges.
The victim was transported by ground ambulance to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo and is currently listed in stable condition with stab wounds.
It’s not clear when exactly the crime took place, but the Battle Creek Police Department said the investigating was ongoing early Monday morning.
