BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A community soup kitchen in Battle Creek says it’s temporarily ceasing its operations.
God’s Kitchen says overhead, multiple unsuccessful fundraisers and the cost of replacing the agency’s broken down vehicle forced the service suspension.
The non-profit religious charity is hoping to open up shop on Capital Avenue Northeast again on March 7.
