ONTWA TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Drug enforcement officers in Cass County say a 37-year-old man with a prior felony conviction and a 35-year-old woman are jailed after a search of a marijuana grow site at a home in Ontwa Township turned up processed pot, a bag of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a semi-automatic pistol.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the discovery was made in the 24000 block of North Shore Drive on Thursday.
Both picked up drug-making and possession charges. The male was also arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
