ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — A St. Joseph County woman who was arrested for animal cruelty after a pitbull puppy was found frozen to death in her backyard has been bound over to stand trial after her preliminary hearing this week.
Roxanne Grochoske’s neighbors in the 19000 block of M-60 in Park Township began calling authorities after they saw what was happening two weeks ago.
Deputies arrived too late to save the animal. A second pitbull was seized and taken to animal control.
