BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Battle Creek police are looking for the driver of an SUV who crashed into an apartment house and then fled the scene.
Police say the driver lost control at about 3 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Meachum Avenue and Capital Avenue Southwest.
No one inside the building was injured.
The driver left the vehicle behind. Investigators were able to contact the owner of the vehicle who was apparently unaware of the crash.
It remains under investigation.
