BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A 26-year-old man from Battle Creek is recovering from multiple lacerations after he told police he was attacked by three men near Riverside Drive and Goguac Street East on Saturday.
The victim claims he was able to fight them off, but not before he was stabbed several times. He managed to walk to some nearby businesses despite his wounds, where he was able to contact police and EMTs.
The victim was stitched up and sent home.
Police are asking anyone with information on the assault to call 911 or Silent Observer at (269) 964-3888.
