BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A 19-year-old woman had to be taken to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital last weekend after apparently getting shot in the face with a BB gun.
It happened as she was walking with a friend and listening to music near North Washington and Walters avenues after 7 p.m. Saturday. She said she was bloodied after feeling something strike her face, but didn’t spot any vehicles or other people near the intersection.
A single pellet was later removed from her nose. It’s not clear if police are investigating the case.
