BARRY COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — There will be no trial for a Nashville man who had over 650,000 child pornography images, at least some of them self-shot, on his computer.
David Heinsen, 69, will likely never be a free man again. In exchange for a plea to a criminal sexual conduct charge, several other charges will be dropped.
Prosecutors say the charge stems from Heinsen’s torture and abuse of an eight-year-old girl with Down syndrome in 1989. An image depicting the crime was found on Heinsen’s computer, and the allegations only recently came to light.
He pleaded guilty to the charges in a courtroom in Barry County. He may also face federal charges.
