GOBLES (WKZO-AM) — Visitation and funeral services have been scheduled for a Paw Paw woman who died when her car was struck in Portage by a teenager who, according to police, was leading a high-speed pursuit.
Crystal Norton, 33, was a familiar figure in the Paw Paw area, manning the cash register and working with customers at a convenience store in Gobles for the past decade.
Fundraising efforts began soon after her Norton’s death to help her daughter, Asia Mae Cruea. The family said memorial donations should be made to the little girl to help fund her future.
Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday at the D.L. Miller Funeral Home on West Main Street in Gobles. The funeral will immediately follow.
The 17-year-old who allegedly struck Norton’s vehicle faces felony charges.
