DOWAGIAC (WKZO-AM) — Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say an apparent domestic dispute has landed a 48-year-old Dowagiac man in jail and his 39-year-old girlfriend at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital with multiple stab wounds.
Deputies responded to a call of a stabbing at a home in the 200 block of Jefferson Street before noon Tuesday. Officers arrived just as the suspect was trying to leave.
Names have not been released. The man was held for questioning and eventually booked on attempted murder.
The victim is reportedly in stable condition.
