ALLEGAN (WKZO-AM) — Perrigo has ordered a recall of grape and cherry generic cold medicine for children after incorrectly-marked dosage cups were included with the product.
The products were sold as generics at Sunmark, Rite-Aid, Topcare, Kroger, GoodSense, Dollar General, Care One and CVS stores.
The bottles have March 2017 expiration dates. The medicine itself is not tainted.
The company also said it’s unlikely there would be any serious side effects from an overdose. Complaints have not yet been reported.
