PINE GROVE TOWNSHIP (WKZO)– Van Buren County Deputies had to force their way into a home along M-40 this past weekend to arrest a female fugitive who was wanted on felony drug and assault warrants for resisting arrest.
They say 31-year-old Natalie Mansfield may be charged with being a habitual offender.
They knocked on her door and saw her in a second story window, but the occupants refused to respond.
After several more knocks and announcements using a P.A. system, the deputies received authorization to make forcible entry and arrested Mansfield.
They took her 2-year-old son into protective custody and handed him over to relatives.
