KALAMAZOO (WKZO)– Murder suspect Bruce Embry has had his first day in court, facing arraignment in the shooting death of Temetrion Hegler,a 17-year-old Senior at Loy Norrix High school.
Apparently the first thing out of Embry’s mouth when police entered his home on Lay Boulevard was a confession, admittng that he was responsible for the gunshot that killed the man’s step grandson.
Then there is the eyewitness, Iqullia Hegler, the suspect’s wife who has already told her story to the media that she saw Embry shoot her grandson and that the teen deserves justice.
The 53-year-old Embry has been formally charged with open murder, and three felony firearms charges Friday, and ordered held without bond.
