SCHOOLCRAFT (WKZO-AM) — A 53-year-old Schoolcraft resident is in custody after a Sunday raid on a home where methamphetamine was being manufactured.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies joined Schoolcraft police on a tip about a home in the 400 block of East Cass Street early Monday. They found a one-pot methamphetamine lab and components for making additional batches of the drug inside the residence, but they did not immediately find the suspect.
Deputies went on to search the rest of the property, eventually finding the suspect and additional meth-making components. The suspect was booked into the jail pending arraignment this week.
