COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A Battle Creek man is dead after his vehicle was struck by a deer that was propelled airborne in a separate accident.
The 32-year-old died on G Avenue near 31st Street on the northern edge of Comstock Township late Sunday when a westbound car struck the deer. The impact threw the deer into the air. It came down through the windshield of the victim’s eastbound car.
That car went out of control, flipped and slid into a power pole.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating. The man’s name has yet to be released.
