SPRINGFIELD (WKZO-AM) — Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies seized over a pound of pot and multiple marijuana plants after responding to a 911 call about a drug deal taking place outside of a home in Springfield.
The bust occurred in the 200 block of 24th Street at around 8 p.m. Thursday after officers spotted drug-related evidence.
Investigators say they also confiscated a firearm at the scene. One person was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Calhoun County prosecutors are reviewing the case.
