CHARLESTON TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies say they’re looking for a woman accused of helping her boyfriend in a home invasion after she failed to appear in court.
Lindsey Coppersmith, 26, now faces new charges related to the Dec. 1 break-in on North 37th Street in Charleston Township.
She had been arrested for resisting and evading, but later bonded out.
Undersheriff Pauli Matyas says a neighbor reported seeing the boyfriend, 23-year-old Mitchell Fletcher, enter the home while Coppersmith kept the engine running in their getaway car.
Fletcher, at last check, is still at large.
She may have paired up again with Fletcher and both are hiding out together on Cork Street, On Margaret Street in Comstock or in the Pavilion Estates Mobile Home Park.
Those with more information are being urged to call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office at (269) 383-8821 or Silent Observer at (269) 343-2100.
