GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO-AM) — Donald Trump is being accused of crossing a line during his speech in Grand Rapids earlier this week.
Known for his plain speaking, some at the event said Trump was swearing and used a vulgar Yiddish word to describe Hilary Clinton’s loss to Barack Obama.
Some in the crowd took offense, calling it inappropriate and undignified.
“There were kids in there, and he would swear a lot,” one attendee said. “I don’t think a president should be able to do that stuff.”
During a campaign stop on Tuesday, Democratic frontrunner Hilary Clinton said Trump was acting like a bully.
“It’s important to stand up to bullies wherever they are, and why we shouldn’t let anybody bully his way into the presidency,” Clinton said.
A new poll shows that, while Trump may be able to say anything and not offend his base, 50 percent of Americans say they would be embarrassed to have him as the leader of the nation.
