HUDSONVILLE (WKZO-AM) — A Crown Point, Ind., man has been sentenced to 18 months probation after killing a teenager in a construction zone wreck on Interstate 196 near the M-6 junction.
The sentence was handed down to Travis Fox, 40, on Tuesday.
In August, Fox was looking at a GPS and eating a sandwich when he plowed his pickup into traffic. The resulting crash killed 13-year-old David Talsma.
Fox had previously pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor moving violation.
