CASS COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — A 43-year-old Cassopolis man is dead after his vehicle left Dutch Settlement Road and struck a tree in Volinia Township.
Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say it happened just before 1 a.m. Wednesday east of Lawrence Road.
Investigators say the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. Alcohol appears to not be a factor.
He has pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s name has not been released.
