LEROY TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — An off-duty Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputy is jailed after he was found unresponsive while behind the wheel of a vehicle in Leroy Township.
Michigan State Police arrested the unnamed deputy at 4 Mile Road and H Drive South early Friday for operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Sheriff Matt Saxton says the deputy has been placed on paid administrative leave. An internal investigation has also been launched.
