CENTREVILLE (WKZO-AM) — A confessed child killer is now the prime suspect in the disappearance of another girl 18 years ago.
WOOD-TV reports that, since Daniel Furlong’s DNA match and subsequent confession to Jody Parrack’s murder eight years ago, authorities have wanted to question him about other crimes, including the disappearance of six-year-old Brittney Beers in 1997.
It is one of the reasons why he was granted partial immunity as part of his plea bargain. Investigators have not yet begun questioning Fulong about the Beers case.
There is no DNA linked to Beers disappearance, but there is an artist’s sketch that resembles the 65-year-old.
