AUGUSTA (WKZO-AM) — Representatives from all military branches are expected to be on hand to lay wreaths at the graves of interred veterans at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta on Saturday.
The annual ceremony is scheduled to start at around noon.
Organizers say over 1,900 of the holiday decorations will be placed on headstones in remembrance of fallen veterans during the event.
The event is part of the “Wreaths Across America” initiative.
