OSHTEMO (WKZO-AM) — A man is recovering after being stabbed 11 times while chasing down burglars in the parking lot of a retirement community in Oshtemo Township.
It happened early Wednesday outside the Evergreen Apartments. The victim told police he was taking care of his mother at the facility when he spotted the men breaking into cars.
The thieves left the area before officers arrived. Investigators are scanning the parking lot for DNA evidence.
