BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police in Battle Creek will be seeking murder charges against a man after his wife died late Tuesday afternoon at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital following a savage beating Monday.
Joy Carpenter reportedly convinced Christopher Carpenter to take her to the hospital, promising she wouldn’t tell authorities her injuries were his fault.
She told police at the hospital otherwise.
Christopher Carpenter has reportedly assaulted the woman before and could be charged as a repeat offender.
