BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Kellogg has pledged to slash its carbon output by 65 percent over the next 35 years.
CEO John Bryant made the promise in a press release Tuesday, and company officials attending an energy conference in Paris also said they’ll work to cut supplier emissions in half over the same period of time.
The Battle Creek-based worldwide cereal-maker says it will achieve the reductions by implementing agricultural reforms and by installing greener machinery at manufacturing plants.
