BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police blame a debilitating medical issue for a crash that killed a native of Battle Creek.
He’s been identified as 40-year-old Dung Nguyen.
They say he was driving on Capital Avenue Southwest near Greentree Boulevard when he suffered the medical problem around 3:20 p.m. Thursday and lost control of the vehicle. It crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
An autopsy will have to be conducted to determine if Nguyen died as a result of the crash or the medical condition.
