DOWAGIAC (WKZO-AM) — Berrien County authorities have issued charges against a Dowagiac woman who allegedly struck and killed a three-year-old boy while she was under the influence of cocaine.
Teri Abiney, 52, was charged with driving under the influence causing a deathTuesday. Bond was set at $10,000 dollars.
The charge is a 15-year felony.
Police say Taeyon Richard was on a bike near his home when he was hit by Abiney’s vehicle in June.
