MARCELLUS (WKZO-AM) — A seatbelt may have saved a Marcellus woman from serious injuries after she swerved to avoid a deer early Sunday, rolling her vehicle multiple times.
Cass County Sheriff’s deputies say 43-year-old Tina Rosen was westbound on McKenzie Street when the deer bounded in front of her. She attempted to dodge the animal, but was unsuccessful.
She was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Three Rivers Health for treatment of minor injuries.
Alcohol was not a factor.
