BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police are looking for a drive-by gunman who wounded a Battle Creek man on the city’s east side.
It happened Sunday. Investigators were alerted just after 1 p.m. by emergency room staff at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital that a man had just been brought in by family members with a gunshot wound to the arm.
He told police he was sitting in his car at Orchard Avenue and St. Joseph Lane when a black SUV pulled up and a person inside opened fire.
The 29-year-old victim is expected to recover.
