KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — It was cold and rainy, but there was still a large crowd for the annual lighting of the downtown Christmas decorations in Bronson Park.
Mayor Bobby Hopewell and the Kalamazoo City Commission read from “T’was the Night Before Christmas,” as they do each year. An actual reindeer was also in attendance.
There are around 89,000 colorful lights now shining in downtown Kalamazoo. They’ll remain illuminated through New Year’s Day.
