KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety says three middle-aged men remain at large after stealing jewelry from an elderly woman.
It happened Tuesday after the suspects were allowed inside the victim’s home. They told her they needed buckets of water to conduct a roof repair.
The men then tore through the woman’s bedroom, taking a wedding ring from 1945 and several other items.
Investigators say they’re not certain if the men are targeting other people.
KPS did not mention where in the city the incident took place.
