BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A Calhoun County jury has convicted a man for the attempted murder of ex-girlfriend.
Angela Bass claims, when she broke off her relationship with Brett Baldridge, he began to stalk her and would not leave her alone.
It came to a head when prosecutors contend he broke into her apartment in Marshall with a shotgun while she slept two days before Christmas last year, and after an argument, shot her in the leg.
Baldridge, 43, could get up to life in prison when he is sentenced next month.
