BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A woman who confronted her 61-year-old dad over his drinking problem wound up in the hospital with a gunshot wound in the foot after the two got into a physical confrontation.
It happened at a home in the 100 block of Country Club Terrace in Battle Creek.
While she is recovering, he will be drying out in the Calhoun County Jail, charged with assault.
The two were struggling over the gun when it discharged and hit her in the shoe. She is expected to recover.
