PARIS (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College students doing study programs in France are all accounted for and safe after at least 129 were killed in terrorist attacks in Paris.
The only known American that was killed was a foreign exchange student from California.
Kalamazoo College spokesman Jeff Palmer said they have over two dozen students in France, but none of them are studying in Paris.
WOOD-TV reports WMU marketing major Hallie Green was in another part of Paris, some distance from the areas that were struck by terrorists. She was hosting a visit from her parents.
Another WMU student studying in Paris traveling elsewhere in Europe at the time of the attacks.
