SPRINGFIELD (WKZO-AM) — Two men from Battle Creek are being treated for multiple gunshot wounds at Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo after Calhoun County deputies rushed to the scene of a shooting in the 4000 block of Dickman Road in Springfield early Saturday.
They arrived at the scene at about 1:30 a.m. but, by that time, both the victims had been transported to the emergency room at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
Police have released little information about the shooting itself, whether they were both shot by another man or whether they were shooting at each other.
We know their ages, they are 22 and 23. Their names and conditions have not been released.
They were transported to Kalamazoo for additional treatment.
Police later found evidence in the area where the gunfire took place.
