KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Santa made his first appearance in Kalamazoo as the 54th-annual holiday parade has officially opened the holiday season.
Cool but comfortable temperatures and a warm sun brought out huge crowds, standing four and five people deep along the parade route downtown.
There were 11 bands, six giant balloons, dozens of floats, police and fire engines, any number of local groups from dancing schools to dog clubs, from church groups to a gaggle of Ghostbusters.
If this wasn’t enough to light the fuse on your holiday spirits than you are seriously Scrooged up.
