ALLEGAN (WKZO-AM) — Consumers Energy says over 2,000 people are without power along U.S. 131 and M-40 in Allegan County.
Around 200 of the utility’s customers were reported without power near Wayland before midnight. Larger outages centered in Hopkins, Allegan Township and Heath Township were reported after 5 a.m. Thursday.
They’re expecting to begin restoring power near Wayland at around 7 a.m. Power is estimated to return to the larger outage areas beginning at around noon.
