UNDATED (WKZO-AM) — The Military Times has, once again, named Western Michigan University and Grand Valley State University colleges that are best for veterans in their annual survey.
It’s the 6th year WMU came out near the top of the survey, which is published near the Veterans Day holiday.
The poll took into account services, resources and financial incentives offered to military members and student veterans, along with academic success measures and other information from the U.S. Department of Education.
WMU was 76th and the GVSU 111th in the 125-school national canvas. Saginaw Valley State University was tops in Michigan at 38th.
