KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team says two Kalamazoo men and a Nevada man are behind bars after officers stopped a drug deal in the Vine Neighborhood.
Officers were prompted to see what was going on near West Dutton and South Burdick streets Tuesday after receiving multiple complaints about people dealing crack cocaine in the area.
Two of the arrests were made in the 100 block of Dutton after officers broke up what they say was a large-scale drug transaction.
Investigators then executed a search warrant at a nearby home and found crack and powdered cocaine, heroin, chrystal methamphetamine and four stolen guns.
All three men were taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail. Prosecutors are reviewing the case.
