BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police have arrested a woman for assaulting her ex-boyfriend after breaking into his house on Gordon Street.
They say the 23-year-old shattered a window and crawled into the residence after pounding on a door Wednesday, but was shooed away by the man and his sister after getting punched in the head.
She then returned to break out the back window of the man’s car after picking up her mother from work.
The man’s current girlfriend was also inside the home at the time. Investigators say she hid in a bathroom.
The woman was pulled over on Northside Drive after leaving the scene and was taken to jail after her wounds were treated at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
