PINEGROVE TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies are holding a man on multiple charges after he was stopped for weaving all over CR 388.
The 24-year old from Pullman didn’t have a license or auto insurance. Investigators say he was acting nervously and smelled strongly of marijuana.
A search of the car turned up the marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine, prescription narcotics and other drug-related items.
They also seized $474 in cash. He was already wanted on three outstanding warrants issued by Allegan County.
The stop in Pinegrove Township occurred just after 10 p.m. Monday.
