PAW PAW (WKZO-AM) — Michigan State Police accident investigators are blaming the weather in part for a crash that left a Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputy with an injured hand.
His cruiser was struck by a car at Territorial Road and West Red Arrow Highway at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday near Paw Paw.
Investigators say rain-slickened pavement caused one of the cars to leave its lane.
