NEWTON TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Michigan State Police say speed may have caused a fatal crash in Calhoun County over the weekend.
23-year-old Corrine Gothberg of Ceresco was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, which happened before 8 a.m. Saturday on B Drive South near 11-Mile Road in Newton Township.
Investigators say the car was heading westbound when Gothberg lost control of the vehicle, plowing into a tree.
