MARSHALL (WKZO-AM) — A maintenance worker and a student were hospitalized after pool-cleaning chemicals were left near the ventilation system at Marshall High School.
Dispatchers received calls of a chlorine leak at the school before 9 a.m. Tuesday, triggering an evacuation.
According to the website for Marshall Public Schools, children at the school have been taken to Marshall Middle School.
Parents can sign their children out at the middle school if they choose. Otherwise, they will be taken home once bus transportation is arranged.
