KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo utility officials have called off a boil water advisory along South Westnedge Avenue from Parker to Pratt Road, basically from the Speedway station to just south of the humane society.
The all-clear came early Sunday morning.
The advisory not to drink the water was triggered when a water main on a side street burst on Thursday. Utility officials could not be sure, but they thought it might have introduced contaminants to the system in the immediate area.
Repairs to the water main are complete and testing shows that the water is safe.
