KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Comstock soldier who died when his military helicopter went down near Kabul in Afghanistan earlier this month returned home friday for his funeral.
Master Sgt. Gregory Kuhse was escorted in a procession from the Airport to the Betzler Life Story Funeral Home on Stadium Drive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. for the career service man who had spent 19 years in uniform.
The Governor has ordered that flags in the state fly at half-staff on Monday to honor Sgt. Kuhse.
