ST. JOSEPH (WKZO-AM) — A 70-year-old St. Joseph man is dead after falling off his moped and getting struck by a car. It happened before noon Sunday.
St. Joseph Department of Public Safety officers say the man was thrown into the southbound lanes of Pearl Street as he was trying to navigate through traffic at Main Street. He was then struck by an oncoming vehicle
He was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s not believed alcohol was a factor in the crash.
