GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO-AM) — A woman arrested in Holland in connection to the sex trafficking of teenage girls is free on $25,000 bond.
Stephanie Martin, 23, appeared at U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids and has a preliminary hearing set for Oct. 29. She and two other people who have yet to be arrested purportedly put photos of the victims online, according to statements by FBI agents in court documents.
The victims allegedly performed sexual acts with multiple men at a Holland-area apartment building.
The arrest culminated a nearly year-long investigation that began at an undisclosed Grand Rapids hotel, and may have been part of a sting operation announced by the FBI on Tuesday, which led to the rescue of 19 teenagers peddled as prostitutes in Detroit and across Michigan.
