KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Wings head coach Nick Bootland says he’s expecting fans to be entertained by his team this season.
“We have a team that plays with physicality, and we’re a fairly large team,” Bootland said. “That being said, the game is all about speed and puck possession, and we have that too.”
The Wings finished 36-30-3 and made their way to the ECHL divisional semifinals last season.
Kalamazoo play its regular season opener at 7:30 p.m. Friday against Fort Wayne. It will be broadcast on 1660 WQLR-AM.
